We are building new bridges throughout the arrising and next generations will walk towards sustainability.

As part of helping to strengthen policies in the promotion of sustainable cities and communities (conferred On SDG #11,13 and 17), our organization has launched an Environmental Education Program to promote access to information and encourage the active participation of all citizens in the initiation of individual and groups’ actions to safeguard our planet.

The implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) does not only involve the active engagement of governments, it is also our duty as members of civil society, like the rest of other actors (companies, communities, researchers …).
We must all cooperate in diversity for more general purposes to:

  • Eradicate poverty,
  • Protect the planet and
  • Ensure prosperity for all; hence an inclusive work with all actors (…)

In all our interventions, we are convinced that the transformation of our community lives must start with a combination of know-how and life, which grant to our communities facing challenges, tangible and sustainable ways to extricate themselves from poverty and instability towards peace and sustainable development. We want to see, along our interventions, the reappearance of new generations and communities built on informational, active and transformational experiences for sustained and consolidated community recovery. On this day, our concerns were about how to promote an informed, active, productive and profitable youth for a socio-economic and financial recovery of our communities. From June 10th to 19th, 2019, we organized training sessions, which  focused on entrepreneurship and soap factory, another bridge towards the consolidation of peace and solidarity development with young people. It should be noted that in addition to the knowledge acquired in the field of soap making, young people have acquired sufficient skills in the responsible and sustainable management of resources The training was closed Tuesday, June 19, 2019 by a ceremony of handing over the patents and testimonials of the beneficiaries on the way they have been inspired and now their new commitment to the improvement of personal and community living conditions.

The delivery of our mission has as its main target: vulnerable communities and distressed people, the capacity deficit, poverty, humanitarian needs, economic crisis and underdevelopment, etc. Of all these criteria, those facing particularly difficult situations are our first priorities because we must first save lives most exposed at risks, and then maintain our intervention in a long-term policy. Sometimes we have to find direct answers to relieve This was the case today; our activity was to assist this large number of orphaned children, who live in very alarming lives conditions. Together with ALDEG’s Vision, we gathered a few sacks of flour, a few bags of rice, a few bags of soap (omo), a few cans of oil (lard), a few bags of bread and a bag of clothes; collected from our members to ensure the survival of these orphaned children for a few days. We don’t be limited there   (….)

The concept of ” socio-economic ” is a very major challenge in low-wage areas such as in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo. In this part of the country, the situation of “youth and employment” is a major problem in a context of rapid population growth and the persistence of the very high unemployment rate, which require active solidarity on the part of the actors to take up the challenge. To this end, we have planned a 2019 agenda in which appeared at its first goal; “Accelerating opportunities that have a ripple effect on socioeconomic recovery and entrepreneurship with young people”. We have remained thinking about concrete actions that can enable us to materialize this objective, and, on this day, with our few means; we try to plan training sessions and support young people in activities that generate financial income…

3 days before starting a new year (2019) and now situate our entire 2018 adventure in the past, our program of men engaged in eradicating poverty for sustainable development came together around a question of knowing «how to contribute to the application of an approach aimed at the advent of an active society contributing to socioeconomic growth and sustainable development in Eastern of DRC»?
Our attention was focused on:
• The diversity of local resources,
• Local production power,
• The financial power of the institutions (Banks, Philanthropy, International Development NGOs, Global Solidarity …) and the role of advocacy and technical support that confers us our social mission for the poor communities…

In the Democratic Republic of Congo, farming communities face common challenges, such as the need for income diversification to ensure the profitability of practices as well as the possibility of access to technical innovations for a sustainable rural life that benefits everyone.
Thus, the agro-ecology sectors must currently find solutions to adopt sustainable development strategies that address social, economic and environmental issues and boost the sustainability of the rural area’s resources.
On this day, our goal was to start a program of technical support for farmers with a projection on “Agroforestry and its various forms”, which presents a great potential for mitigating negative impacts related to exploitation: Agricultural land conservation, and diversify agricultural production in the basics of environmental protection and the fight against climate change.
This favors, among other things, increasing biodiversity, carbon sequestration, improving water quality, optimizing the profitability of agricultural land, (…)

We said we invest in promoting new skills to shine our vision with the next generation. We should put at his disposition, an opportunity to understand the human context and its daily lives conditions as well as a notion of the know-how to promote his well-being and meet his future needs from now on. Sharing with other actors of the same mission as ourselves, we hope gradually responding to the notion of community resilience, at the local, national and regional levels.

All the necessary efforts have been made and effective decisions have had to circulate to help the farming communities get out of poverty, but the indicators show that many African communities still survive from hunger.
However, this requires a new intervention required to strengthen the fight against this scourge. A new vision should emerge that would support the efforts already achieved by the major players to eliminate hunger and misery in order to contribute to this goal of sustainable development. But, what is the role of World New Vision for Development in this fight? What kind of intervention is urgent for a long-lasting solution? To make a significant contribution to the achievement of this goal, WNVD has developed an innovative plan focused on the “land revolution” or “revolution of the agricultural sector”, in order to allow Congolese communities to fully enjoy access to Sustainable livelihoods, economic growth and, in particular, adequate food.

At least of our power and our possibilities, we try to live emotionally closer to the communities facing great difficulties, we listen to them, we share them on tracks that can serve tangible changes in their daily life and guide them towards effective practices of mobilizing sustainable solutions to their needs.
